About Pentas Project 「平台計劃」簡介

創辦人兼藝術總監/ 羅國文

「平台計劃」成立於2005年。「平台」,即平面的舞台,是一個沒有瓦牆與界限的交流場域。

多元文化和語境一直是馬來西亞獨有特殊的原生環境,東西方文化的歧意和衝突形成的混交特色,催生出風格獨具的藝術形式。「平台計劃」的成立緣起,就是冀望從這個多元文化器皿中汲取養分,以多元交流凝視自身、瞭望國際。 「平台計劃」是一個開放的劇場合作計畫,藉由多元藝術形式的凝視、擦撞、實驗和媾和,醞造多元不設限的藝術交流。「平台計劃」也是一個移動的魔術游擊隊,成員們的養成修持,囊括表演藝術、錄像、建築、舞踏、詩等形式各異的藝術專精,他們在其中呼吸、思考、創作,自由而相容。團員們在不斷加強自身專業裝備之餘,也常跨足平台以外,積極探索形式各異的藝術交流合作,尋求藝術專精的躍進,打造幻詭迷人的藝術魔法。

Malaysia is a multi-racial and multi-cultural country with differences in language, religion, and ethnicity. And these differences have combined and influenced each other, eventually influencing the emergence of diverse art forms and streams that are unique. The establishment of Pentas Project hopes to get its nutrients from the multi-cultural society, and to look into ourselves while gazing at the world.
  • Founded in 2005 by Loh Kok Man
  • “Pentas Project” in Chinese would be 「平台計劃」 (ping tai ji hua). The first two characters「平台」 (ping tai), indicate a flat stage. 
  • “Pentas Project” envisions a stage without walls or boundaries, a stage that can be more transparent and equal, a stage for interaction and understanding that can strengthen the relationships between different cultures and realms. 

    Objectives of Pentas Project
  1. To build a mature, contemporary, and multi-faceted stage which encourages interaction and openness. 
  2. To learn, explore, understand, and open up new horizons and collaborative space in theatre arts. 
  3. To respect and support differences through collaboration, interaction, sharing and learning, and furthermore, to appreciate the unique of diversity in our society and field.

圓桌匯意 Round Table YI Collectivo


一個平等、對話、分享、交流、討論與協商的對話交流平台。希望通過每次不同主題的圓桌會議形式,匯集各方意見,建立一個表演藝術相互分享知識與想法的交流平台。在促進表演藝術工作者相互深入了解的同時,並延伸至對本土表演藝術生態與體制的了解與思考,通過對其他人的觀點進行討論,彼此之間沒有階層,沒有權威,不受束縛,從而達到相互學習與交流的目的。
